Can I arrive after the check in time?

If arrangements have been made prior to your stay, yes. We appreciate guests being respectful of our check-in times, as we live in the country and bright headlights at late hours are alerting to both ourselves and neighbors we strive to be mindful. We are a Bed and Breakfast, not a house rental or hotel, we like to greet guests with a proper mid-western welcome when possible

Our units do not have your traditional bottled shampoo/conditioner. We do include an all-purpose homemade lavender/oatmeal bar soap in our welcome bags. This can be used as body soap, shampoo, laundry soap, etc. This allows us to keep waste minimum, product quality high, environmentally friendly and contributes to helping keep rates affordable for guests.
We love getting to play and connect with all the kiddos who stay, but the playground in our backyard is not for guests. This is for insurance purposes and healthy boundaries for our family as well. There is an abundance of space and land to wander for B&B guests, including hiking trails, gardens, courtyard area and fire circle. Our kids also love to play, hike and teach all the littles about animal care and gardening. We have a tree line and garden that help provide an obvious separation form the main homestead and guest spaces.
Yes! We are .4 miles from trailhead access. You do have to ride a short stretch on both E. Otto Rd and Center Hwy. If you choose to drive, there is a trail head with parking on Fort Rd just .6 miles from Rōming Roost.
If arrangements have been made prior to your stay, yes. We encourage car pooling. We have specific parking for B&B Guests, so when parking, please allow space for other vehicles to pull in as well.
