Every stay at Rōming Roost is yours to enjoy in your own way. Whether you’re here to explore, unwind, or simply breathe a little deeper, our thoughtfully curated offerings invite you to Rest, Rōm, and Renew.
Rest
Rest. Nest. Nourish.
At Rōming Roost, A Botique Retreat Bed and Brekfast, we believe true hospitality begins long before you arrive. Every room is thoughtfully prepared with care, from line-dried linens and naturally cleaned spaces to thoughtfully curated furnishings that blend natural materials, vintage finds, and modern comforts.
Before each guest’s arrival, we prepare every room with quiet intention and a simple prayer that your stay will bring rest, peace, and renewal.
Each morning, you’re invited to enjoy a light, self-serve breakfast in our Gathering Space featuring locally roasted coffee, farm-grown herbal tea, fresh-baked sourdough or seasonal pastries, hard-boiled eggs from our flock, seasonal fruit, and other locally inspired favorites. Breakfast is served daily from approximately 7:45–9:30 a.m. (times may vary slightly by season). Looking for a heartier meal? We’d be happy to point you toward some of our favorite local cafés and restaurants.
Upon arrival, you’ll also find a thoughtfully curated welcome gift featuring handcrafted products from our farm and local artisans. During the growing season, fresh eggs and garden vegetables may also be available for purchase.
Our hope is simple: that every love filled detail, from the scent of freshly line-dried linens to a warm cup of local coffee helps you slow down, settle in, and feel truly cared for.

Rōm
RŌM. WANDER. FROLIC.
Nestled among neighboring cherry orchards, Rōming Roost is a place where nature invites you to slow down. Wander our private hiking trails, watch monarch butterflies drift through fields of milkweed, meet our friendly horses and free-ranging chickens, listen to birdsong carried on the breeze, and experience the peaceful pace that makes Leelanau County so special.
Spend the evening gathered around a crackling campfire beneath the stars, challenge your family to a friendly game of cornhole or yard games outside our Gathering Space, enjoy a picnic surrounded by nature, or simply find a quiet spot to read, breathe, and reconnect. Whether you’re seeking adventure or stillness, our 15-acre homestead offers space to reconnect with nature and yourself.
Looking to Rōm beyond the farm? the Leelanau/TART trail is a 1/2 mile away, scenic M-22 is just down the road, and the Village of Suttons Bay is only three miles from our doorstep. Across the quiet road, Bahle Farms Golf Course awaits, while Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Lakeshore is an easy 25-minute drive. Countless inland lakes, beaches, wineries, charming villages, and outdoor adventures are all within easy reach, making Rōming Roost an ideal home base for exploring the best of Leelanau.

Please note: Rōming Roost is a small working hobby farm nestled between two cherry orchards. Depending on time of visit, your stay may provide a glimpse of farming life, from cherry shakers, tractors and farm projects to our sweet and vocal egg laying hens.
