Rōm

RŌM, WANDER, FROLIC

Nestled among neighboring cherry orchards, with hiking trails on property, fields of milkweed for our mystical butterflies, the sounds of birds singing, and a connection to nature only Northern Michigan can unveil.

Enjoy an evening bonfire under the stars, a playful game of corn hole outside our Gathering Space, a stroll around the groomed hiking loop or find a quiet space in the fields and enjoy the sounds of our native birds as you settle into the peaceful up north energy.

If you are looking to Rōm off property,  the TART trail is a 1/2 mile away, a Michigan Scenic road just down the way, we are three miles from the Village of Suttons Bay and across the quiet road from one of the state’s best kept golfing secrets, Bahle Farms Golf Course.  Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes is a beautiful 25 minute car ride, or escape to any of the other countless shorelines the area has to offer.  Or, grab a paddle board and visit any of the inland lakes the county has to offer, many within a 10 minute drive.

YOGA & MOVEMENT

Kristen Wilson Yoga Certifications

Yoga & Movement at Rōming Roost
At Rōming Roost, we believe wellness is rooted in simplicity: fresh air, meaningful movement, nourishing food, restful sleep, and time spent in nature.
Our yoga and movement offerings are designed to help guests reconnect with themselves and the natural world around them. Whether through a gentle yoga flow in the pasture, a mindful walk through the orchard, (coming in 2027 a tennis lesson on the court) each experience encourages balance, vitality, and joy.
Yoga classes blend mindful movement, breath awareness, and gentle self-inquiry to support strength, mobility, and restoration. Drawing from both Hatha and Vinyasa traditions, practices may incorporate seasonal themes, chakra awareness, and subtle Reiki-infused elements to encourage relaxation and overall well-being. Our flows are welcoming to a wide range of ages and experience levels, with modifications offered throughout so that each participant can move in a way that feels supportive and accessible. Through breathwork, mindful movement, and moments of stillness, guests are invited to cultivate body awareness, confidence, resilience, and a deeper connection to themselves and the natural world around them.
As part of your stay, guests are invited to join our complimentary Saturday Morning Yoga Flow (ages 12 and up), a gentle practice designed to help you settle into the weekend and enjoy the beauty of Northern Michigan.  This complimentary flow is in our yoga pasture and is weather pending.
Private Yoga Sessions
Customized private yoga sessions are available by appointment.
$80 per hour (up to 4 guests)
Yoga and movement offerings are led by Kristen, RYT-500 Registered Yoga Teacher, Holy Fire® III Reiki Practitioner, Kidding Around Yoga Certified Instructor, and RSPA Certified Tennis Professional. With more than 20 years of experience teaching movement-based practices.
